Jim Nabors

Jim Nabors ( born June 12, 1930 in Sylacauga, Alabama ) is an American actor, singer and comedian.

Nabors was known primarily for his portrayal of the good-hearted and naïve Gomer Pyle in the 60s sitcom "The Andy Griffith Show" and by the song Back Home Again in Indiana, which he since the 70 - years annually in the opening act of the 500 miles of Indianapolis sings.

Jim Nabors was a guest star in the first season of the Muppet Show.
