Jim Shooter

James Shooter ( born September 27, 1951 in Pittsburgh) is an American comic book writer.

Life

At 14, he started at DC Comics as a writer of the series Legion of Super - Heroes. In 1978 he was editor in chief at Marvel Comics and Marvel introduced with new ideas and comic book titles to success. Shooter was a co-founder of Valiant Comics, which achieved great success in the early 1990s. After leaving Valiant went down gradually.
