Jim White (musician)

Jim White ( born March 10, 1957) is an American singer-songwriter. Stylistically, it is assigned to the division Southern Gothic literature and the music genre Alternative Country.

Life and work

White grew up in the southern United States. Prior to his music career White has worked as a professional surfer and a model today.

After his debut album Searching for the Wrong - Eyed Jesus (1997), a BBC documentary has been nominated in the White outlines his views on the rural southern United States. In the movie also occur like-minded artists such as The Handsome Family, David Eugene Edwards of 16 Horsepower and Johnny Dowd.
