Jimmy Two-Shoes

Jimmy Cool ( Original title: Jimmy Two-Shoes ) is a Canadian- American animated television series by Edward Kay and Sean Scott.

Action

The town is governed by Lucius Heinous Miseryville VII, who tries the bad atmosphere in the city to maintain. Most of his subjects working at the company Misery Inc., a supplier of spoiled foods that provide grief. But when the young Jimmy shows up there, he puts all the inhabitants with his cheerful manner. I like not Lucius. That his only son Belzi befriends Jimmy, does not make things easier for him.

Main Characters

Jimmy: Jimmy always knows how to pull the positives out of a thing, no matter how hopeless it may be. He often seems a bit absent-minded and scattered. He has a one-eyed pet named Zerbie.

Belzi: He is son of Lucius and the complete opposite of him. Belzi is thick, big, good-natured and lazy. He, moreover, is for everyone to have fun and posing with Jimmy lot of nonsense to. Belzi, moreover, is quite greedy, which brings him in many uncomfortable situations.

Hölluis: It is Jimmy's neighbor and the only one next to it that looks like a man. Hölluis is a technical genius and stands as developer mechanical in Lucius ' services, but they can not even be said of their employer anything. She is known for her tantrums, but Jimmy over it is always charming and courteous. It is much smaller than he was, her age is never betrayed.

Lucius: He is the absolute ruler of Miseryville. He is anti-social, selfish, obstinate, and are still its best features. However, since he has to suffer under a lot of the crazy plans Jimmy, he is to be pitied more than feared. The only person for whom he feels some sympathy is the attractive (compared to him) tall Jez, but does not take him seriously.

Samy Samy is Lucius ' secretary and responsible for many thankless tasks. He serves his boss often as furniture and only gets to eat waste. Lucius did not thank him his help, although it would be without Samy to anything in the situation.

Broadcast

The series started on 13 February 2009 at the U.S. cable channel Disney XD, and on March 21, 2009 in Canada on Teletoon. The German Original Air Date was 21 November 2009 on the German Disney XD. A broadcast on free television was not yet to be seen. On 9 September 2010, the broadcast of the second season in Canada and began on October 30, 2010 in the United States. In Germany, the second season was seen from 6 May 2011.

Background

It is not determined in the series exactly, but Miseryville could be in hell. Still, there are some allusions in the series on this topic: Lucius and Belzi are allusions to the name Lucifer and Beelzebub, what are two names of the devil. Zerbie based from the name of Cerberus (Greek Kerberos), the hellhound and Hölluis plays with her name directly to hell.

Running gags

Hölluis tried in many episodes to flirt with Jimmy and gets upset awful when somebody responds to it. Even to her feet are never visible as her dress reaching to the ground. In one episode it was even a central theme, whether it has any at all about feet.
