Jiří Jarošík

Jiří Jarošík ( born October 27, 1977 in Ústí nad Labem ) is a Czech football player.

Career

The uncompromising central midfielder began his career with the youth team of Sparta Prague, FK Teplice, FK Ústí nad Labem and Komastav Chuderov. In 1996 he came into the first team of Sparta Prague. In 1997 he went free transfer to Slovan Liberec. From 1999 to 2002 Jarošík played back at Sparta Prague, before moving to CSKA Moscow in the 2002/03 season.

2004/ 05 was from the Czech Republic for twelve million euros to Chelsea to England. Beginning of the 2005/06 season he was loaned to Birmingham City. From mid-2006 to January 2008, the Czech played for Celtic, then he moved back into the Russian Premjer league Krylia Sovetov Samara to. After his contract expired in Samara, located Jarošík completed in January 2010 at the Spanish club Real Zaragoza. After only one year in Spain, he signed a two-year contract with his hometown club AC Sparta Prague.
