Jiří Macháček

Jiří Machacek ( born July 6, 1966 in Litoměřice, Czechoslovakia) is a Czech actor, singer and songwriter.

Biography

After graduating from the GymnĂzium Na Zatlance, Machacek studied music at Konzervatoř Jaroslava Ježka, at the Law Faculty of Charles University in Prague and acting at the Theater Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. He then played a theatrical debut in 1997 and appeared and directed by Vladimír Drha fairytale The beads mermaid on the side of Karolina Sochorová and Filip Blazek as a film actor. In 2000, Machacek Award for his portrayal of Jakub in the comedy loner with the Czech Film Awards Český lev for Best Supporting Actor. Another nomination for Best Actor, he received pádem in Horem for his performance.

In addition to his acting is also a singer and songwriter in the band Mig 21, which he previously released three albums.

Since 2000, Machacek is divorced from the animator Kristina Dufková, with whom he has two children together.
