Joaquín Eufrasio Guzmán

Joaquín Guzmán Eufrasio (* 1801 in Cartago, † 1875 in San Miguel, El Salvador) was dated 15 February 1845 and continued until February 1, 1846 President of El Salvador.

Life

Guzmán had been repeatedly elected to Parliament as an MP. His daughter Adelaide Guzman de Barrios was the wife of Capitan Gerardo Barrios. His son was David Joaquín Guzmán, a physician and politician.

As Guzmán Francisco Malespín was took the office of President on 7 February 1944 to the Vice President. As Malespín on October 25, 1844 drew in his war against Morazan and the Liberal Party, he made Guzmán to the Executive President. The members of the Partido Liberal Gerardo Barrios and José Trinidad Cabañas were to escape from besieged Leon and returned to San Salvador. Gerardo Barrios convinced his father Joaquin Guzman Eufracio the Executive President. This decreed on February 2, 1845, the capture of the brothers Malespín and replaced Malespín the High Command by José Trinidad Cabañas 16th February bis April 25, 1845 handed Joaquín Guzmán Eufrasio the presidency to Fermín Palacios. In the presidential elections in 1848 Eugenio Aguilar was elected.

In 1858 he was Santín Miguel del Castillo again vice president and this handed on January 24, 1859 due to illness his tenure at him. On February 15, 1859 Guzmán was the Office of the Executive José María Peralta.
