Jochen Kientz
Jochen Kientz ( born September 17, 1972 in Mannheim ) is a former German football player and players' agents.
Career
The defender Jochen Kientz began his career at SpVgg 06 ketch. He then played VfR Mannheim, SV Waldhof Mannheim and Schwetzingen SV 98. In January 1991, he signed his first professional contract with Eintracht Frankfurt (1st Bundesliga).
In 1994 Jochen Kientz for TSV 1860 Munich in the Bundesliga 2 and increased to with this club.
In 1995 he moved to Spain with RCD Mallorca. The following year he played at the Spanish club CD Logroñes.
From 1997 to 1999 Kientz was active again for 1860 Munich in the Bundesliga 1. In the first year he played 30 games and kicked in the European Cup. In the second year he scored his first Bundesliga goal.
In 2000 Jochen Kientz went from February to June to Greece Panionios Athens.
He then signed a contract with Hamburger SV (1st Bundesliga). With the HSV he played in the Champions League. In the game against Juventus Kientz had the task of guarding the world footballer Zinedine Zidane. In the 28th minute Zidane missed the player of the HSV a Sap and was dismissed. HSV won the game in Turin 3-1.
In 2001 Kientz moved to FC St. Pauli (1st Bundesliga). He completed 20 games for the club and was a member of the team that FC Bayern Munich, who had just previously won the World Cup, defeated 2-1 on 6 February 2002. The team is still revered in St. Pauli as " World Cup victory Heritage winner ". Nevertheless, the FC St. Pauli relegated this season.
In the following 2 years Kientz played at Hansa Rostock (1st Bundesliga).
In 14 years as a professional football player Jochen Kientz was 13 times operated on. In 2004, he finally had to end his career (due to a persistent ankle injury ) and has since been disabled sports.
After his playing career Kientz trained as a football coach (A license). Until 2008, he oversaw the club Penya Esportiva Sant Jordi (Ibiza) as a team coordinator. After Kientz worked as a scout for Real Mallorca, he founded his own agency as a players' agent - Jochen Kientz Football Consulting.
