Jochen Lettmann

Jochen Lettmann ( born April 10, 1969 in Duisburg ) is a former German canoeist, he was German Champion, European and world champion in canoe slalom.

At the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona Lettmann took the bronze medal in canoe slalom kayak. In 1995 he became team world champion along with Oliver Fix and Thomas Becker. At the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta Lettmann set the fastest time, but was due to a Torfehlers only eighth. Won the 1997 World Championship bronze Lettmann again with the team and then ended his sports career.

Jochen Lettmann is the son of Klaus Lettmann, 1963 world champion with the whitewater canoe. Jochen Lettmann is entered after the end of his athletic career in his parent's boat builders operating in Moers, since 2004 he is with his sister Martina Hoyer- Lettmann CEO of Lettmann GmbH.
