Jochen Müller

Jochen Müller ( born April 18, 1963) is a former German football player.

Career

Müller began playing football in his hometown at FC Erbach, with whom he 1985/86 moved into the second major round of the DFB Cup. In 1986 he moved to SV Waldhof Mannheim in the Bundesliga, where the defense and midfield to relegation to the 2nd Bundesliga in the summer of 1990, 97 league games completed, in which he scored two goals. As a professional, he held the Mannheimers another year in the second tier loyalty in which the club missed the direct resurgence. As a midfielder Jochen Müller was in 23 league games of the second division for the SVW on the pitch and scored two goals.

In 1991, Müller as to date first German soccer player for Scottish club Dundee United, where his former club the change only agreed after the player had waived in writing on any outstanding 18,000 Deutschmark content. A short time later he was injured but heavy and had to end his career after disc surgery.

Following his playing career, Müller engaged in youth development and worked for the West German Football Association, DFB at the Mannheim - base and the first soccer school Rhein- Neckar, before returning as youth coach for SV Waldhof in July 2007.
