Joe Warren (fighter)

Joseph Warren ( born October 13, 1976 in Grand Rapids ) is a former American professional wrestler and current mixed martial arts fighter. Warren wrestled in the Greco-Roman wrestling in the weight class up to 60 kg and in 2006 was world champion.

He wrestled for the New York AC, where he was coached by Momir Petković.

In February 2008, Joseph Warren has been banned by the U.S. Wrestling Federation for doping for two years. Since then, he takes as a mixed martial arts fighter and posted to 9 September 2010, six wins and one loss.

  • 2006 1st place, World Cup in Guangzhou, GR, up to 60 kg, after victories over Dilshod Aripov, Uzbekistan, Ali Ashkani Agboloag, Vyacheslav Daste, Russia, Eusebiu Diaconu, Romania and Dawit Bedinadse, Georgia
  • 2007 1st place, World Cup in Antalya, GR, up to 60 kg, after victories over Islambek Albijew, Russia, Saber Mirzadehj Darzi, Iran and Daniel Krymov, Ukraine
