Joey Barrington

Joey Barrington ( born January 18, 1980 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil ) is an English squash player.

Career

Joey Barrington began his professional career in 2002 and won five tournaments on the PSA World Tour. Its highest ranking in the world rankings, he reached rank 24 in January 2007. His father Jonah Barrington, at the same time his coach, was also a squash player active and successful. 2008 Joey Barrington was first appointed to the England national team, and represented England in four of five games at the European Team Championships in Amsterdam. His last full season on the World Tour, he played in 2012. On the PSA World Tour in 2013, he played only one tournament yet.

Joey Barrington is active as a live commentator on the PSA World Tour for several years. In May 2014 he married his wife, Emily.
