Jofa

Jofa is a former Swedish company that has mainly manufactured Hockey products.

Jofa is the abbreviation for fabriker Jonsson ( Jonsson factories ). Niss Oskar Jonsson - founded the company in 1926 Malung. The first products were made from animal skin residues, since the first company was a tannery.

In 1963 began the production of hockey helmets. Shortly after, other hockey items such as skates and hockey sticks were made.

Since 2004 is part of Reebok Jofa. Since then, there are the brand names Jofa no more, the products fall under the label Rbk. Reebok Since 2006, turn to adidas.

The founder Niss - Oskar Jonsson died in 2002 at the age of 92 years.

On 13 December 2012, the last helmet was produced in Malung. You are now manufactured in China.
