Jóhann Berg Guðmundsson

Jóhann Berg Guðmundsson ( born October 27, 1990 in Reykjavík ) is an Icelandic football player who is under contract with the Dutch first division club AZ Alkmaar since 2009.

Career

Jóhann played in the youth and others for the youth teams of Chelsea and Fulham, but his first professional stop was the Icelandic first division Breiðablik from Kópavogur. Here he played, and others with the later Icelandic internationals Alfreð Finnbogason, Gylfi Þór Sigurðsson, Freyr Helgason Elfar and Guðmundur Kristjánsson together. In the summer of 2009, he was obliged by the Dutch first division club AZ Alkmaar, where he met with Kolbeinn Sigþórsson to a compatriot.
