Johann Konrad von Roggenbach

Johann Konrad von Roggenbach (* December 15 1618 in Schopfheim, † July 13, 1693 in Pruntrut ) was from 1656 to 1693 Prince-Bishop of Basel.

Life

In 1652 he was elected to the provost of the Basel Freiburg cathedral chapter and on 22 December 1656 in Delsberg Bishop of Basel. Johann Konrad 1693 buried in the crypt of the cathedral Arlesheimer. His epitaph was destroyed during the French occupation of Arlesheim during the revolutionary years.
