John Ajvide Lindqvist

John Ajvide Lindqvist Erik ( born December 2, 1968 in Stockholm Blackeberg ) is a Swedish writer.

Life

Lindqvist grew up in Blackeberg, a suburb of Stockholm, on. He started as a street performer and made ​​his career as a magician and stand-up comedian. For the Swedish television, he worked as a screenwriter before he began writing horror fiction. A large audience, he was known by the film adaptation of his first novel, Let the Right. The book Let the Right One In 2008 in Sweden, with the film of the same title (Original Title: LAT rätte the comma in, international English title: Let the Right One In) filmed what Lindqvist also wrote the screenplay.
