John Arch

John Arch ( born 1959 in Colorado Springs as John Maurice Archambault ) is an American metal singer who is esp. as a founding member of Fates Warning known.

Biography

He founded Fates Warning 1982 Jim Matheos, Victor Arduini, Joe DiBiase, and Steve Zimmerman in Connecticut and sang on the first three albums of the band. Then Fates Warning developed their style of Heavy Metal with Iron Maiden influence at an early but seminal progressive metal. After the release of Awaken the Guardian Arch left in November 1986, the band replaced him with Ray Alder.

Arch turned his back for the next 17 years of music before he surprisingly released a solo EP on Metal Blade Records in 2003. A Twist of Fate was with Jim Matheos, Joey Vera ( Fates Warning ) and Mike Portnoy played and extremely well received by the press. Arch, Matheos and Vera continued in 2010 their cooperation in the project Arch / Matheos continued, with the Frank Aresti and Bobby Jarzombek (both Fates Warning ) released the album Sympathetic Resonance.
