John Barlow (priest)

John Barlow (* 1798, † 1869) was secretary of the Royal Institution of Great Britain and around 1855 Chaplain - in -Ordinary to Her Majesties Houshold at Kensington Palace.

He earned his master and became a member of the Royal Society. He was Vice President and Secretary of the Royal Institution of Great Britain and organizer of the Friday evening lectures in which Faraday spectroscopic investigations of Bunsen recited among others.
