John Beckman

John Beckman ( born October 22, 1895 in New York City; † June 22, 1968 in Miami, Florida ) was an American professional basketball player. Between 1913 and 1930 he played in various professional teams in different leagues, but he is known for his time with the Original Celtics in the 1920s. Beckman was 1.80 m tall and played the position of forward. On April 26, 1973, he was posthumously inducted into the Naismith Memorial added Basketball Hall of Fame.
