John Bonello

John Bonello ( born May 10, 1958) is a former Maltese football goalkeeper.

Bonello played in the 1980/81 season six games for the SC Herford in the 2nd Bundesliga Nord. On the 32nd and the 34th to the 39th Round, he was the goalkeeper Manfred Recknagel. This was achieved in four defeats and two draws no victory Bonello and conceded 14 goals. After this series of games the 1.90 meter Bonello has not been reinstated in a German professional league. At the end of the season Herford finished in 16th place in the table.
