John Bostock

John Bostock ( born January 15, 1992, London ) is an English footballer who currently holds a contract with the Belgian second division club Royal Antwerp FC.

Career

Association

Bostock played in the youth of Crystal Palace. He made his debut on 29 October 2007 in the match against Watford in the Football League Championship, the English second division, when he came on in the 72nd minute and was 15 years and 287 days, the youngest player ever for Crystal Palace was used in a professional game. Only a week later he also became the youngest player in the starting of a game of Crystal Palace when he ran aground in the match against Cardiff City from the start.

With his move to Tottenham Hotspur, there were discrepancies between the clubs, so that a court ruled that Tottenham have to pay a transfer fee of the equivalent of almost 800,000 euros. National

Bostock played six games for the English U-16 national team. With the U-17 National team, he participated in the 2009 U-17 European Championship in Germany in part. Overall, he ran 25 times for the U -17.
