John Clements
John Clements ( born April 25, 1910 in London, † 6 April 1988 in Brighton ) was a British actor.
Life
Sir John Clements was a successful stage actor, in London at times even led a private theater and always took leadership roles in the theater. He was married to actress Kay Hammond. As a film actor he first appeared in 1934. He had also internationally the most success with four springs. Clements worked frequently with director Alexander Korda together, but put the emphasis of his acting work in the theater and had from the beginning of the 50s only a few appearances in the film. In the peerage Clements was raised in 1968.
