John de Wolf

John de Wolf ( born December 10, 1962 in Schiedam ) is a former Dutch football player.

Life

He began his career in 1983 at Sparta Rotterdam. In 1985 he moved to FC Groningen for four years. Then he stood until December 1994 when Feyenoord Rotterdam under contract. At the beginning of 1995 he moved to Wolverhampton Wanderers. For the 1996/1997 season he moved to VVV Venlo. A season later he moved to Hapoel Ashkelon in Israel. That same season, he left Israel and played from now on for Helmond Sport. His career ended in Zwart Wit '28. At the same club he worked in the 1999/2000 season as a coach. A season later he took over the coaching posts at Halsteren. For the season 2013/14 he was assistant coach of Jong Sparta Rotterdam, the youth team Sparta Rotterdam.

For the Dutch national team, he played six times, where he was in the U.S. in the squad at the 1994 World Cup.

After his career he worked as a football expert with a number of Dutch private channels. In 2006, he appeared at the Dutch version of Let 's Dance.
