John Disley

John Disley ( John Ivor Disley, born November 20, 1928 in Corris, Gwynedd ) is a former British hurdler.

At the Olympic Games over 3000 m steeplechase in 1952 won bronze in Helsinki in 1956 and Melbourne in sixth.

1952, 1955 and 1957 he was British champion. His best time of 8:44,2 min he set up in Moscow on 11 September 1955.

In 1954 he competed in the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Vancouver in the mile run for Wales, but resigned in the run- off.
