John Du Prez

John Du Prez (born 14 December 1946 in Sheffield, Yorkshire ) is a British composer of film music.

Career

In 1982 he made ​​his debut as a composer in the film industry with the music for the documentary The Pantomime Dame. The following year he worked for the first time along with Monty Python and created the music for the film The Meaning of Life. Other collaborations followed, it years later co-wrote the musical Monty Python 's Spamalot.

In the 1990s, he collaborated with the band in Kryme partner. In the decade before, he was a member of the pop band Modern Romance.

For his work on the films and Turtles Turtles II - The Secret of the Ooze, he was excellent in each case with a BMI film music award.
