John Eudes

John (Jean) Eudes ( born November 14, 1601 Mazerai at Ri, Normandy, France; † August 19, 1680 in Caen ) was a Catholic priest and founder of the Congregation of Jesus and Mary and the Congregation of the Sisters of the Good Shepherd. Because of his commitment to spreading the devotion to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary, the Holy. Life

He tirelessly reminded the priest of the meaning of their task and preached to them the priestly life holiness of the priests, which is connected with the life of Christ, a " biological -like image of Christ " must be, he must be " clothed with His Holiness ."
