John Faber Junior

John Faber (* 1684 or 1695 in Holland; † May 2, 1756 in Bloomsbury ) was an English engraver of Dutch descent. John Faber came when he was three years old, with his father John Faber, a mezzotint engraver, to England. His engravings in black art among the best of their kind to amount to 165 copies, which are portraits of well-known Englishman, for the most part. The portraitist Godfrey Kneller and Peter Lely let him make prints of their portraits.
