John Fru Ndi

John Fru Ndi ( born July 17, 1941 in near Bamenda ) is a Cameroonian politician.

Life

He is the founder of the Social Democratic opposition party Social Democratic Front (SDF ). Fru Ndi was a candidate in the presidential elections in 1992 and 2004. On 11 October 2004, he received 17.4% of the vote. He is accused, among other things, to have received 500 million CFA BEAC Franc to weaken the momentum of opposition. The Catholic Committee against Hunger and for Development could not confirm that claim of Cameroonian newspaper.
