John Garrels

John Garrels ( John Carlyle "Johnny" Garrels, born November 18, 1885 in Bay City, Michigan, † October 21, 1956 in Grosse Ile Township, Michigan) was an American track and field athlete.

At the Olympic Games in London in 1908, he won silver in the 110- meter hurdles and bronze in the shot put. He also participated in two discus throw competitions, but did not have the preliminaries out.

John Garrels graduated in 1907 from his studies at the University of Michigan, in the American football team, he was also active.
