John Gerard Noonan

John Gerard Noonan ( born February 26, 1951 in Limerick ) is an Irish- American clergyman and bishop of Orlando.

Life

John Gerard Noonan received on 23 September 1983, the ordination.

Pope Benedict XVI. appointed him on 21 June 2005 as Auxiliary Bishop in Miami and Titular Bishop of Bonusta. The Archbishop of Miami, John Clement Favalora, donated to him on 24 August of the same year the episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were the auxiliary bishops in Miami Agustín Román and Felipe de Jesús Estévez.

On 23 October 2010 he was appointed Bishop of Orlando and introduced into the office on 16 December of the same year.
