John Harwood (watchmaker)

John Harwood (* 1893, † 1965) was a British inventor and watchmaker.

In 1923 he built the first automatic watch ( as a wristwatch with pendulum flywheel ). On October 16, 1923, he applied for in Switzerland for a patent on his invention.
