John Junkin
John Francis Junkin ( born January 29, 1930 in Ealing, London, † March 7, 2006 in Stoke Mandeville, Aylesbury ) was a British radio, television and film actor and screenwriter.
He was known for his appearances in several television comedy shows. 1960 Junkin took part in Joan Littlewood's Stratford East Theatre Workshop and played the lead role in Sparrers Can not Sing A little later, he joined the Royal Court Theatre Company. Then he moved to television, where he played various roles, best known were his comedic roles and his appearances as a television quiz master. He died of lung cancer.
