John McGiver
John McGiver ( born November 5, 1913 in New York, USA, † September 9, 1975 in West Fulton, New York) was an American film actor.
John McGiver, the son of Irish immigrants, worked from 1955 to 1975 in more than a hundred films and television roles with, often in small, often comedic roles. Before starting his acting career, he worked as an English teacher.
From 1947 until his death he was married to his wife Ruth, with whom he had ten children. At the age of 61 years he died of a heart attack. His son, Boris McGiver is also active as an actor.
