John McGreevey

John McGreevey ( born December 21, 1922 in Muncie, Indiana, † November 24, 2010 in Laguna Hills, California ) was an American screenwriter.

Life

John McGreevey was born in Muncie, Indiana, but grew up in Logansport, Indiana. At the age of five, he wrote his first play, which he presented to the backyard of the family. His childhood was marked by money problems and alcohol illness of his father, a veteran of the First World War, so he, after the parents had separated for a time lived for a while in Fort Wayne with his father. The rest of his childhood he lived with James and Katherine McGourty, his uncle and his aunt in Logansport. After he attended St. Vincent School and Lincoln Junior High School, he made 1938 graduated from Logansport High School.
