John Menzies Low

John Menzies Low CBE CEng ( born 1953 ) is a British politician and an independent member of the House of Lords Appointments Commission.

Life

Low is the chief executive of the Charities Aid Foundation ( CAF) and Chairman of the Association of Chief Executives of Voluntary Organisations ( ACEVO ). He received the 2008 Queen's Birthday Honours from the Order of the British Empire for his charitable work.
