John Naisbitt

John Naisbitt ( born January 15, 1929 in Salt Lake City, Utah) is an American author with the main focus on trend and future research. His most famous book is Megatrends. Written in 1982, it was published in 57 countries and dominated the bestseller lists for months. He made known the concept of globalization.

Life

After his studies in political science at Harvard University, Cornell University and the University of Utah Naisbitt was Deputy Secretary of Education under John F. Kennedy and Lyndon B. Johnson Special Assistant for. He was successful in the private sector and as an entrepreneur. Since 1982, the year of publication of his first work Megatrends, he is a lecturer in the spotlight of international events. In addition to his lectures around the world, the majority of his work is seen at present an analysis of China's development. John Naisbitt is the Chairman of the Naisbitt China Institute in Tianjin, is a professor of Nankai University and professor of Tianjin University of Finances and Economics, and a member of the Board of the Asia Business School, Tianjin.
