John Patrick Boles

John Patrick Boles ( born January 21, 1930 in Boston) is a retired auxiliary bishop in Boston.

Life

The Archbishop of Boston, Richard James Cushing, donated to him on February 2, 1955, ordained priest for the Archdiocese of Boston.

John Paul II appointed him Auxiliary Bishop April 14, 1992 in Boston and Titular Bishop of Nova Sparsa. The Archbishop of Boston Cardinal Bernard Francis Law gave him on 21 May of the same year, the episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were John Michael D' Arcy, bishop of the diocese of Fort Wayne - South Bend, and John Joseph Glynn, auxiliary bishop in the U.S. Military Ordinariate.
