John Richard Keating

John Richard Keating ( born July 20, 1934 in Chicago, USA, † 22 March 1998) was Bishop of Arlington.

Life

John Richard Keating received on 20 December 1958, the sacrament of Holy Orders.

June 7, 1983, Pope John Paul II appointed Bishop of Arlington. The Apostolic Delegate in the United States, Archbishop Pio Laghi, donated to him on August 4 of the same year the episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were the Bishop of Great Falls, Thomas Joseph Murphy, and the Bishop of Allentown, Thomas Jerome Welsh.
