John Taylor (Bishop of St Albans)
John Bernard Taylor ( born May 6, 1929) is a British Anglican bishop and theologian.
Life and career
Taylor studied at Christ's College at the University of Cambridge.
In 1975 he was appointed Archdeacon of West Ham. 14 June 1980 until his retirement in 1995 he was Bishop of St. Albans. From 1988 to 1997 he was a part-time Lord High Almoner.
In his role as Bishop of St. Albans Taylor from 1985 to 1995 as a spiritual Lord member of the House of Lords.
Since the 1960s, Taylor wrote several times scientific and popular books on various topics.
