John Ventimiglia
John Ventimiglia ( born July 17, 1963 in Queens, New York City, New York ) is an Italian- American actor who is best known for his role as a restaurant owner and chef Artie Bucco from the HBO series The Sopranos. Ventimiglia was born in New York's Ridgewood in Queens and grew up in Teaneck, New Jersey. He graduated at the Teaneck High School, where he played on the football team. Ventimiglia starred in films like Mickey Blue Eyes ( 1999) on the side of Hugh Grant and Cop Land (1997 ) on the side of Sylvester Stallone before he was hired for The Sopranos. He also made guest appearances on U.S. TV series like Law & Order and NYPD Blue.
