Johnny Whitworth

Johnny Whitworth ( born October 31, 1975 in Charleston, South Carolina ) is an American actor.

Life

Whitworth grew up as a child of divorce in his birthplace with his mother. He later moved to his father in Dallas, Texas. At 18, he tried his hand at Los Angeles as an actor and made his debut there in a guest role in the hit TV series Party of Five.

His film debut was in the 1995 film Bye Bye Love. In the same year he also played the character of A. J. in the movie Empire Records. After a brief hiatus, he returned to the Grisham - The Rainmaker film back to the big screen. He also got a recurring role in the CBS series CSI: Miami, where he appeared as a shady Detective Jake Berkeley who had a liaison with Calleigh Duquenese. This was remarkable, as his rival for the attention of the investigator established CSI Eric Delko agent was. From the end of the fifth to the end of the sixth season, Berkeley was not an ATF agent anymore, but a player in Miami homicide detective, who worked with the CSI team.
