Jollyball

The Jolly Ball is a variation of volleyclub game. It is a team sport that combines the ball juggling with Volleyball: Instead of a volleyball juggling balls are thrown over a network. Each team consists of two persons is played on a normal ( beach) volleyball field with the respective network.

Basics

Pitch and power is provided by the Badminton: The field is 9.9 m long and 6.1 m wide with men (badminton field in double width to double service line ), with the ladies 7.92 mx 6.1 m and 8.91 mx Mixed Games 6.1 m. There is a center line and the overhanging network ( net height: 1.52 m ) divided into two halves. The two juggling balls and the Jolly Ball should be the same weight ( 100-200 g) and of the same material, but the Jolly ball must be lifted in color. The teams consist of two players, with mixed games from a man and a woman.

The Jolly Ball is a player juggles with his own balls and thrown over the net to the opposing team in a way that can take or play back correctly it no opposing player.

Regulate

Points

Points can only be achieved by the team by indicating errors of the opponent. Commits the team indicating an error, the specified law changes. For each specification change, the two players must exchange the team indicating their position (right and left in their half of the field ). Assumption

The Jolly Ball must be achieved by a player of the opposing team and juggles correctly along with his two game balls. This means that the plaything of accepting hand must be in the air at the Jolly Ball adoption already. The Jolly Ball needs to be integrated directly into a juggling pattern in the adoption in the game (except Dotzen ). During the juggling of three balls one must not move away from the place of acceptance.

Dotzen

Dotzen is bouncing or absorption of the Jolly Balls without catching it. The Jolly Ball can be gedotzt in the adoption, during the juggling, the player to the partner, and the game to the opponent. Here, each Dotzer is counted as a contact. The game balls may not be gedotzt. Two abutting Dotzer are allowed but only with different body parts. When adopting the Jolly Balls all body parts may be out of his hands and the game on the network uses only the legs.

Contacts

The Jolly Ball must after a total maximum of ten contacts of all three balls ( every throw right and left and every Dotzer counts ) are played to a team mate or over the net. Also in the specification applies the 10 contacts rule.

In principle, only the Jolly ball may be played, where he more than twice may change the players before it is played over the network. An exception represents an indication

Fake Figures, wherein the Jolly Ball does not change in every contact from one hand to the other, are not allowed. This includes, for example, juggling two balls with one hand and guiding the third ball with the other. Allows However, all three ball juggling figures, where the Jolly Ball on each roll changes hands, such as Cascade, shower or back crosses.

Dead ball

Juggling tricks, in which the Jolly ball or cue ball comes to rest, such as Neck, finger, Fußpause et al are not allowed and are considered as errors. An exception is, however, the " artistic ", but correct assumption of the Jolly Balls in the crook of your arm.

Network and horizontal throws

The Jolly Ball may not in principle be played from top to bottom and not horizontal when playing over the network. Smashes, blocks, etc. are therefore not allowed and are considered errors. The upward rise of the Jolly Balls when throwing out his hand over the net must be clearly identifiable.

The power of touch Jolly ball during the game is allowed, but not in the indication. The network of contact by a player or a ball game does however as an error.

Enemy litters may not be caught by grabbing over the net. My litters may be taken across on the net if the immediately following this catcher's throw back leads into his own field.

Error

Should a player lose a pawn or both match balls while juggling, so this is not already considered an error if the Jolly ball at the moment of ground contact of a falling game ball ( or the ceiling of contact by a high throw) the player's hand as Next game to a team mate or as litter via the network, has left.
