Jon Davison (film producer)

Jon Davison ( born July 21, 1949 in Haddonfield, New Jersey) is an American film producer.

Career

Davison studied at New York University, among others, under Martin Scorsese. He moved to Los Angeles and joined Roger Corman's 1972 film company New World Pictures. At first he was responsible for public relations, then took over but also other tasks. He was, among other things, second unit director for Rock 'n' Roll High School and supervised several films as a producer, including the feature film debut of Ron Howard. In 1980 he left New World Pictures and began working as an independent producer.
