Jonatan Johansson (Snowboarder)

Jonatan Johansson ( born March 7, 1980 in Sollentuna, Stockholm County, † March 12, 2006 in Lake Placid, New York) was a Swedish snowboarder.

Johansson finished at the Olympic Winter Games 2006 in Turin twelfth place in the snowboard cross. In 2005 he was Swedish champion and also finished in the Finnish national championship the first place.

When training before the snowboard cross World Cup race in Lake Placid itself Johansson broke in a heavy fall a neck vertebra and died shortly afterwards from his injuries.
