Jonathan Evans (politician)
Jonathan Evans, FRSA ( born June 2, 1950 in Tredegar ) is since 1999 an MEP for the Conservative Party for Wales and a member of the Executive Board of the European People's Party.

- Member of the Conference of Delegation Chairmen
- Member of the Committee on Economic and Monetary
- Alternate to the Committee on Foreign Affairs
- Chairman of the Delegation for relations with the United States
Career
From 1968 to 1994, Evans Solicitor, Partner and Managing subsequently partner in a law firm from 1988 to 1992 he was deputy chairman of a housing construction company in Wales and, from 1997, he was for 2 years insurance director in London.
Political career
Since 1992, in politics, then a member of the House for Brecon and Radnor, he was Minister for Corporate Affairs at the Ministry of Trade and Industry, Secretary of State for Wales, and a member of the Board of the Conservative Party.
