Jonathan Fabbro
Jonathan Fabbro ( born January 16, 1982 in Buenos Aires, Argentina ) is an Argentine- Paraguayan football player who is under contract with the Argentine Primera División - subscribers CA River Plate. It can be used as an attacking midfielder. He played in seven different countries.
Club career
Fabbro moved in 2001 from the youth from Argentinos Juniors to Europe, Spain, in the youth of RCD Mallorca. He successfully passed the youth department and made five league player for the island club. Then he went back to South America to one of the most famous clubs of Argentina, Boca Juniors. There he was able to at least six games scoring a goal and then went to Colombia to CD Once Caldas. There he was achievers, scoring five goals in 39 games. After Europe, the transition to the Dorados de Sinaloa in Mexico meant the next continent, where he played. For the Mexicans, he scored seven goals in 35 games. The strong performance of Fabbro in the last few seasons awakened desires of Brazilian clubs and so he moved in January 2006 to Atlético Mineiro. After only four weak games without a goal, he went after half a year to CD Universidad Católica in Chile. There, too, he only played half a year, but was with six goals in 20 games significantly more successful than in his time in Brazil. In January 2007 he went to Paraguay for Club Guaraní, where he remained four years. This season he made 101 league games and hit 35 times. Thereafter he remained in Paraguay, but went to Club Cerro Porteño. There, he made it for the first time in the national team of Paraguay. For his new club Fabbro met in 58 league games 19 times. Since July 2013 he played on loan for CA River Plate.
In addition to hits in various leagues, he joined in 20 games of the Copa Libertadores four times as scorer in appearance. In the Copa Sudamericana, he brought it in 15 games on six goals. Fabbro is characterized above all by its dangerous free kicks and 2012 was a candidate for election for the Paraguayan Footballer of the Year.
National team career
Born in Argentina, he decided to play for the Paraguayan national football team. Since 2012 it belongs to the inner circle of the national team. In the Copa America 2011 in Argentina, he was not a candidate. In qualifying for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil he could meet twice in seven games. However, the team failed to qualify for the competition. His last international goal he could achieve against the national team from Guatemala in a friendly match on 16 August 2012. His last international match so far, he completed almost a year later, on August 14, 2013, at the Fritz -Walter-Stadion in Kaiserslautern against the German national soccer team. He stood in the starting line-up and was replaced in the 62nd minute.
Private
Fabbros older brother Darío played until 2007 also football but on the position of the striker. In 2013 it was announced that he is dating the model Larissa Riquelme.
