Jonathan Goldsmith (musician)
Jonathan Goldsmith is a Canadian composer and music producer.
Biography
Jonathan Goldsmith has been working for the 1982 published Canadian horror film The Horror Hospital as a film composer since its composition. For this music, he was nominated a year later as the best composer for a Genie Award. It should be followed by 2011 three more nominations. For the Canadian Television Awards Gemini Award Goldsmith, however, was nominated 14 times as Best Composer, where he received four awards, including for When the moon to the sun and Dead Silence - flames in silence.
In addition to his film compositions Goldsmith has also worked as a music producer. He produced several albums with artists such as Bruce Cockburn, Hugh Marsh, Michael Occhipinti and Array Music.
