Joost van Leijen

Joost van Leijen ( born July 20, 1984 in Nijmegen ) is a former Dutch cyclist.

Career

Joost van Leijen began his career in 2003 at the Dutch cycling team Van Vliet - EBH- Gazelle, after he won the junior version of Omloop Het Volk for in the previous year and second in the Tour of Flanders was. In his second year at Van Vliet he won the two -day race Brussel - Zepperen and Challenge de Hesbaye. In 2006 he was successful in Gent- Staden, the Ronde van Limburg and on a portion of the Ronde van Antwerpen. In the 2007 season he won a stage of the Tour of Slovakia and so could the Appreciation decide for themselves.

End of the 2013 season, he finished his career as a professional cyclist.
