History
JMI was founded by Princess Rym Ali on 14 August 2006, and was officially opened in February 2010.
Master's Degree Journalism & New Media
The Institute, in conjunction with the University of Jordan a one-year practical master's degree in journalism. The language of instruction is Arabic, but there are lessons and guest lectures offered in English.

- UNESCO ( United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization ).
- International Center for Journalists in Washington, DC
- Canadian International Development Agency.
