Features

The males reach a forewing length 12.5 to 13.1 mm, information on wing length of females are not available so far. The front wing tops shimmering green, the hind wings are gray. The sensors consist of 42 to 51 segments.

In the males, is located on the saccule a very long ventral extension. The aedeagus is about five times longer than wide and has a short, straight, conical cornutus. The 8th Abdominalsternit covers only the rear part of the segment.

Similar Species

Jordanita globulariae and Jordanita vartianae resemble J. fazekasi externally. J. globulariae also has shimmering green front wing tops and gray hind wings. In the two similar species the 8th Abdominalsternit covered only half of the segment and thus the long Sacculusfortsätze. In J. globulariae the Cornutus the bladder is absent, J. vartainae the Cornutus has a different shape and the ventral part of the Sacculusfortsätze is concave at the top. J. fazekasi comes to the type locality in Hungary before sympatric with J. globulariae.

Dissemination

Jordanita fazekasi is so far known only from the type locality in southern Hungary.
